Game History

Now, I'm calling this a 'gaming blog', but some will argue that I'm not really a 'gamer'. I do anticipate this so I am writing a post now, about my gaming history - what I play, when I play, what I play on, etc. So, let's get to it.

Okay, so I'm not a big PC gamer, just because my poor little 10" Toshiba mini NB205 (in Sable Brown ;)) probably wouldn't be able to handle it. Well, even if on the slim chance that it could handle it, I'd rather not risk further damage. But I'm sure that if I did check out a couple of the gazillion games for computers, I'd not want to stop. And a large part of me is grateful for the fact that I haven't. Okay, well, I'm not sure if this counts, but I do play on miniclip and other free game sites (my favourite game at the moment being Fireboy and Watergirl xD) with my brother (who is a PC gamer).

So what do I play on if not a computer? DS - mainly. Now more often on my brother's 3DS that we share as my DS Lite (Legend of Zelda edition - the gold one, not the silver) is, sadly, damaged. I can't use the L and R buttons (well, sometimes they work, but very rarely nowadays - and my trick to press them the right way fails me now) and I've got these weird little blue lines on my touchscreen - which make it very difficult for me to see lines and numbers (well, they're just collections of lines, really) while playing Pic-Pic - after dropping my poor baby twice... Yeah...a lot of my stuff's broken.

What else do I play on, console-wise? Well, Wii, PS2 (yes, some of us still got that shit), and even my Gameboy Advance when I'm feeling nostalgic (anybody else still have theirs?), though it is a little broken, but that ain't stopping me from playing Kirby!! At least, not until it, er, crashes on World 1 Level 4...

The games I play on consoles are mainly arcade, puzzle, adventure and RPGs, such as Mario Kart, Professor Layton and Pokémon. Well, how about I just list every game I have a box for (and btw, I keep all my boxes)? Here goes: Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Professor Layton and Pandora’s Box, Professor Layton and the Lost Future, Professor Layton and the Spectre’s Call, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, MySims, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Trials and Tribulations, Pokémon Black Version, TAMAGOTCHI CONNEXION: Corner Shop 2, Magic Made Fun. That is it. Now I know what you might be thinking; what the hell, that’s it? No. That is not it. I have several R4s and TTs and one R4i. If you have no idea what I’m talking about, get out. Go on – you heard me. Get the hell on out of here. You do not belong.

Okay, okay, I’m joking. Please stay (please!). Sorry. Anyway, if you do not know what these weirdly named thingies are, they are game card which have microSD chips in them and, most importantly, they hold HUNDREDS of games. If I were to list all the games I have stored on a single one, we’d all get bored. I’m sorry. … Actually, no I’m not. … Anyway. There are those kinds of game packs as well (for DS Lite), of which I have about 5 and you can imagine the number of games on there. I think I have the entire Pokémon collection for Gameboy on one of them, including other games. I might go into depth on these cards if requested, but for now, let’s leave it at that.

Well, I think that’s it. If you can relate at all please comment, comment on what you liked, what I do that bugs you, if you have any questions, yada-yada-yada… Any feedback/banter will be much appreciated xD

Guess I’ll see you later, dudes!

A Little Introduction...

 Hell-ohh Internet!

Sup, dudes?

So it's been a while since I've been on blogspot. According to my last post before yesterday, 12 years to be precise. Which I don't think is true... See, the time stamp says Wednesday January 10th 2001. I would have been 4. Like, in reception. I think it was probably my dad showing me how to make a website (of course, back then I didn't know the difference between a blog and a website) or maybe blogspot just got the time stamp wrong?? Which is highly unlikely, I know, but when I checked the url it was: luvvababe.blogspot.co.uk (I know, shut up) which was my preferred 'net name when I was in the junior years of primary school (age 7-10). Maybe I changed it later?? However, I do remember writing a blog post about going to France or something way back when and I thought this was it. Clearly not.

Anyway, that's in the past - doesn't really matter now.

NOW, is there anyone willing to help me troubleshoot??

You see, I'm trying to edit my 'thinks' blog post by the account name 'm', but I don't know how. It should have an edit button somewhere, like on this account, but there isn't. I was able to change the url from this account I think, but ARRGHHH!!! I dunno what's happening!! I SHOULD BE ABLE TO EDIT MY OWN ACCOUNT DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am calm.

So yeah! If anyone could reply to this that'd be real cool guys xD

Laters, dudes!!

And in case anyone wants to check out the 2001 posts, here's the link: mp.blogspot.co.uk
